When
i was 15 a friend of mine asked if i knew how to play drums, i said "no"
and he said "well you're gonna play tonight cuz we just fired our drummer
and we have a gig". I was scared but also excited to do it. When i asked
what i should do, he said "play as angry and a s fast as you can"
which was great for me cuz i had plenty of anger to go around. I have been hooked
ever since. I have played in loads of bands thru the years but my real shit
is the band i co-founded with Damien Paris and have been playing drums in since
1996 THE GIRAFFES. We have become sort
of an NYC staple at this point and it definetly is keeping me fit and less angry.
